APC | Airport City | Office location in Israel and therefore often referred to for naming responsibility or belonging of a topic |
Dossier | A bond of files (incl. Documents) used to authorize a product in a specific country. | |
Document | Namely one of the 3 document types: Certificate, Letter or Report. Those document types can be reused in multiple Dossiers. Documents will be extracted from Dossiers to enable single storage and re-usage of the Documents through linkage to corresponding Dossiers. | |
EasyR | Previous archive system. Two system instances available: One for APC and one for Cologne. | |
File | A dossier consists out of multiple Files & Documents. Both terms mean usually the same, but for the archive, it is distinguished to make sure a file is uniquely valid for a Dossier, whereas a Document is one of the 3 types and can be reused through linkage to Dossiers. | |
GAS | Global Archive System | The initial name during kickstart of the project. |

Prod | Production | Product environment in which the system runs. Is used operatively. |
Properties | The archive system uses the term "Properties" for metadata. Properties are additional Folder or File information. One unified set of properties is defined for Documents and one for Dossiers. Files within a Dossiers will inherit the Dossiers property-set. | |
QA | Quality Assurance | In the Quality Assurance environment the archive is running under production-like circumstances. Acceptance tests are driven on QA to approve implemented functionalities. |
RegStore | Registration Data Storage | Product name of the archive system |
SSO | Single Sign On | Once logged into Adama's network, the user will be granted access to all systems that ensure this SSO. The archive is supporting SSO. |
.tiff | Tag Image File Format | An image file format. Older reports are often scanned and stored as .tiff files. |
